Laws and Regulations Governing Urban Planning and Land Use in the United Republic of Tanzania
This Article traces ideological changes and their influences on urban planning practices in post-colonial Tanzania. Colonial urban planning was based on modernist ideological rationalities drawing from layout planning, land use zoning, and master planning which has been carried forward to date with tremendous progress.
