Head of Business Development
Paul Sewe is a researcher on law and technology that integrates years of practical experience, policy involvement, and academic insight. He is currently pursuing an interest in A.I and Green energy. Mr. Sewe holds an LL.B (Hons) from the Open University of Tanzania and an ICDL from Interlearnet Computer College. He also holds a certificate as a best Moot Court presenter having served the Moot-Court Club as Secretary for two consecutive years at the OUT in the process conducting Moots and making presentations.
As Head of Business Development (HBD) he is charged with handling up to the minute corporate client needs, tracking business trends and synching aspects of our practice with the changes in tech and law. In his own words, law is his life and business his default setting. He has a rich resume cutting across liaison and strategy both within and outside law chambers in Tanzania and abroad.
His current research projects, centre on an in-depth investigation into the legal challenges surrounding investment &FDI law in the EAC. This research project deals with a unique category of systems he has codenamed the “investment barometer index” where he analyses strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities in the investment climate and how the legal frameworks inter se, support these indices.
His scholarly contributions include articles and book reviews. Moreover, he also engages with broader audiences through publications that distill intricate legal concepts into accessible formats. Mr. Sewe writes forewords for books and also does translation services.Maintaining collaborative relationships, his network includes institutions of learning, law firms and social media pages where he openly and extensively shares his thoughts and insights passion for climate change preparedness, conventional and machine learning.
